Digital Download Terms
Last updated 2 August 2026
1. What you're buying
When you buy a digital download from Anzic Records, you're buying a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to listen to the recordings. You don't acquire ownership of the recording, the composition, or the artwork, and no rights pass to you beyond what's written here.
2. Formats and quality
- MP3 — 320 kbps constant bit rate.
- WAV — lossless, CD quality or better.
The exact resolution for each release is shown on its product page.
3. Getting your files
- After payment you'll get an email with a link to your download page. The link is saved on your order as well.
- You can re-download your files whenever you need them.
- The files are large — a lossless album can exceed 2 GB. A desktop browser on a stable connection will serve you better than a phone.
4. What you can do with the files
Copy them to your own devices, convert them to another format for your own listening, and keep your own backups. It's your music.
5. What you can't do
- Share, resell, or redistribute the files, in whole or in part.
- Upload them to file-sharing services, streaming platforms, or anywhere else the public can reach them.
- Use them commercially — in film, television, advertising, games, or any other synchronization.
- Sample them in a released work.
- Broadcast them or perform them publicly.
For any of these, just ask. We're a small label and we're approachable — write to info@anzicrecords.com and we'll talk about a license.
6. Refunds
A downloaded file can't be returned, so digital sales are final once you've downloaded the files. Two exceptions, and we mean them:
- If a file is corrupt, incomplete, or the wrong recording, tell us and we'll fix it or refund you.
- If you haven't downloaded anything yet, ask within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you.
If we issue a refund, your access to those files ends and you agree to delete any copies you've made.
7. Where we sell downloads
Digital downloads are currently sold to customers in the United States only. Elsewhere, our catalog is available physically from this store, and digitally from Bandcamp and the streaming services.
8. If something goes wrong
Email info@anzicrecords.com.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Any change applies to purchases made after it's posted — it doesn't alter the terms of a purchase you've already made.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
